1.Select Other Applications and Functions from the Hospital Base Menu.

 

2.Select Word Processing

 

3.Select Ad Hoc Report

 

4.Select Report Dashboard

 

5.Select Insurance Receipts

 

System prompts, "Facility:"

 

6.Select the desired Facility. (Only Facilities selected for access under that User Based Login will be available for selection.)

 

System prompts, "Insurance:"

 

7.Select the drop-down to select a specific insurance class to display receipts posted for that particular insurance.

 

System prompts, "Discharge Date/Receipt Date:"

 

8.Select the Discharge Date or Receipt Date option, followed by the date range, to view insurance receipts posted within that time frame.

 

System prompts, "Search:"

 

9.Use the search option to delimit the displayed results for a particular diagnosis or procedure code.

 

NOTE: This option will only become available once Diagnosis or Procedures has been selected from the drop-down.

 

System prompts, "All/Diagnosis/Procedures"

 

10. Use the drop-down to sort the results by principal diagnosis or by principal procedures. If All is selected, the results will sort by visit number.

 

System prompts, "Insurance Filters:"

 

11. Filters may be selected and/or setup to customize the data extracted out of the system. The following predefined filters may be added:

Primary Insurance: Will only display receipts for primary insurances.

Secondary Insurance: Will only display receipts for secondary insurances.

Tertiary Insurance: Will only display receipts for tertiary insurances.
