The ED Levels and Disposition Stats Dashboard displays the number of ED visits within a specified Admit Date range. It displays visit counts for encounters with ED level CPT codes 99291, 99292, 99281-99285, with a quantity of one or more and associated with revenue codes 450 or 981. The dashboard includes comprehensive breakdowns by Revenue Code for ED Level, ED Disposition Code, Discharge Code, Payer Type, Stay Type, Service Code, Sub Type, and Physician. This data supports performance tracking, resource planning, and analysis of ED utilization and outcomes.

Metrics

 

•Rev Code 450: The number of visits that have one of the ED Levels (99291, 99292, 99281-99285) and a Revenue Code of 450.
 

•Rev Code 981: The number of visits that have one of the ED Levels (99291, 99292, 99281-99285) and a Revenue Code of 981.
 

•450 and 981: The sum of visits from Rev Code 450 and Rev Code 981 allowing data analysis for all results on one page.
 

•Not 450 or 981: The number of visits that have one of the ED Levels (99291, 99292, 99281-99285) but do not have a Revenue Code of 450 or 981.

 

 

Filters

 

Filters can be applied to refine the dashlet totals. Each filter features a drop-down menu with a built-in search field, allowing for efficient selection of specific criteria.  

 

•Admit Date: Use the calendar or slider to specify the Admit Date range to be used.
 

•Facility: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific facility.
 

•Stay Type: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific Stay Type.
 

•Sub Type: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific Sub Type.
 

•Service Code: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific Service Code.
 

•Physician: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific physician.
 

•ED Disposition Code: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific ED Disposition Code.
 

•ED Discharge Code: Use the drop-down menu to select a specific ED Discharge Code.
 

•Clear All Filters: Select this option to clear all previously applied filters.

 

NOTE: If no filters are selected, the data will populate using the default setting of All.
