The Communication application is used to enter requests, refill requests, and messages on the patient's chart and send secure messages to a patient. It can also be used to create and track preventative reminders for TruBridge Provider EHR patients.
To open Communication, select Charts > Select the appropriate patient > Communication. The Communication Selection screen is displayed. From this screen, you can select the type of communication you want to view or create.

NOTE: Facilities outside of the United States may choose a date format of MMDDYY, DDMMYY, or YYMMDD to be used on all date fields in the Communication application. Where four-digit dates display, a date format of MMDD, DDMM, or MMDD, respectively, will be used. Whichever date format is selected will be reflected in all date fields and column displays throughout the application. Contact a TruBridge representative if you would like to change the date format for your facility.
