The Profile Docs tab will display documents associated to the patient's profile. These documents originate from the Communications Center, the Document Management System and/or Patient Connect. When documents are associated with a patient, those documents were not linked to a specific account. Therefore the documents are associated with the profile instead.
NOTE: Documents originating from the Documents Management System will be View Only and may not be moved or deleted in Electronic File Management.
This display will show the Date the file was attached to the profile, the Description of the file, the File Type that was linked, date the comment was placed on the file, and the Audit Log Date. The document will be highlighted in red if it was moved or deleted from the account. In this case, the Inactive Reason will display “Moved” or “Deleted”.
There are three viewing options available on this tab:
•Active: The software will default to this option and will show all files that have not been deleted or moved on the account.
•Deleted: This option will only display files that have been deleted or moved on the account.
•All Images: This option will display all active, deleted or moved files on the account.
NOTE: The Deleted and All Images options will only be accessible if "Allow Changing Scanned Docs" is set to Y on page 2 of Employee Security. If it is set to N, the Deleted and All Images options will display as grayed out on the screen.
