The Custom TPN Notes Table is for Pharmacy recommendations to the physician on Total Parenteral Nutrition orders.

 

Select Web Client > Tables > Clinical > Custom TPN Notes.

 

 

Custom TPN Notes Table

 

Enter the custom TPN Notes in the text box.

 

Example:

Usual daily Requirements

Na    60-150 meq

K      60-150 meq

Ca     9-16     meq

Mag   8-24    meq

Cl      1:1     NaCl

 

The CPOE TPN order screen contains an option labeled TPN NOTES. Selecting this option will bring up the Custom TPN Notes entered in the Custom TPN Notes Table.
