DESCRIPTION: To help registration staff address patients respectfully and according to their preferences, enhancements have been made to make the patient's preferred name more visible throughout the system.

 

With this update:

•A patient's preferred name is now displayed in parentheses after the legal name across all relevant areas

•Bot messaging has been updated to use the patient's preferred name when available

oNOTE: Confirmation and Reminder messaging will continue to use the legal name until the Thrive 22.05 release.

•Patient Search results now include the preferred name anywhere patient name searches are returned

 

Preferred name is now visible in the following locations:

•Expanded Demographics

•Scheduled Appointments tab

•Appointment Request → Match Profile

•Patient Search results
